Educational Qualification : M.Sc (Chemistry/Physics/Nanosciences/Bioinformatics) or M. Tech

with 60% marks with a valid GATE score/CSIR-NET(JRF/LS)/GPAT/Biotechnology Eligibility Test qualification.

Candidates must have an aptitude towards problem-solving and willingness to learn about chemical systems.

Additional preferred qualifications : Candidates with good programming background (Fortran, C/C++, Python, Linux) will be preferred.

Emoluments : Consolidated salary of Rs. 25000 pm.

Duration of the Project : 12 Months.

Job Profile : Selected candidate will use computational techniques (Molecular dynamics simulations and Density functional calculations) for biomolecular simulations.

The initial appointment is for a period of six months and can be extended depending on satisfactory performance.

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Qualification : M.Sc. I st class or higher second class in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Science/ Life Science, with consistently good academic record with NET/CSIRUGC

NET including LS/GA TE/DBT -BET according to the memorandum DST OM No. SR/S9/2-09/20 12 dated 21.10.2014. Candidates with one/two year research experience will be given preference. Candidates without NET/CSIR-UGC NET including LS/GATE/DBT-BET may also apply. They may be considered as per the DBT project rules.

Duration : 3 Years

Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- per month + 20% HRA for first two years and Rs. 28,000/- per month+ 20% HRA for the third year.

Selection Process : Candidates will be selected based on an interview.

Essentials : M.Sc.(Mathematics) + minimum 1 year research experience

The candidate should have good mathematics background and knowledge of oceanography, along with basics of sea-ice. Knowledge of programming languages like MATLAB/C/C++is essential. The candidate must be accustomed with image processing software ERDAS IMAGINE.

Fellowship : As per DST norms
