Educational Qualification : M.Sc (Chemistry/Physics/Nanosciences/Bioinformatics) or M. Tech

with 60% marks with a valid GATE score/CSIR-NET(JRF/LS)/GPAT/Biotechnology Eligibility Test qualification.

Candidates must have an aptitude towards problem-solving and willingness to learn about chemical systems.

Additional preferred qualifications : Candidates with good programming background (Fortran, C/C++, Python, Linux) will be preferred.

Emoluments : Consolidated salary of Rs. 25000 pm.

Duration of the Project : 12 Months.

Job Profile : Selected candidate will use computational techniques (Molecular dynamics simulations and Density functional calculations) for biomolecular simulations.

The initial appointment is for a period of six months and can be extended depending on satisfactory performance.

Educational Qualification: ME/M.Tech with 3 years experience or PhD in Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering /Materials Science or related branch of Engineering/Science from reputed institute.

Job Description: RA / Postdoctoral Fellow is expected to contribute in the above mentioned research involving

• Fabrication of experimental set up for H2 adsorption/ desorption study and any other
• related set ups. 
• Conduct required experimentation and material characterization using laboratory facilities at IIT Gandhinagar, Palaj, Gandhinagar and the Institute of Plasma Research (IPR), Bhat, Gandhinagar – 382428.
• Preparing required reports/Journal papers including project presentations

Desirable: Knowledge of similar type of research experience of solid phase characterizations and gas phase absorption/desorption behavior using different standard analytical technique will be an added advantage.

Salary: Consolidated salary of 36,000/- per month + contingency of 25,000/- per year.
