Educational Qualification : Candidates should possess Degree in Ayurved from a university established by law or a statutory Board/ Faculty/ Examining body of Indian Medicine or its equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970, Post Graduation Degree in the subject/ speciality concerned included in the schedule to Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970 and Ph.D (Ayurved) in concerned subject & A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) for Post No. 01 & 02 and Degree in Ayurved from a university established by law or a statutory Board/ Faculty/ Examining body of Indian Medicine or its equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 and Post Graduation Degree in the subject/ specialty concerned included in the schedule to Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970 for Post No. 03 with relevant experience.

Age Limit : Candidates age limit should be not more than 55 years for Post No. 01, 50 years for Post No. 02 and 45 years for Post No. 03.

Salary : Rs.   /- per month

Selection Process : Candidates will be selected based on an interview.

Educational Qualification :
A) Post Graduate Degree in Ayurveda recognized by CCIM.
B) 20 Years standing experience in the profession of which three years regular service in Professorgrade or eight years combined experience in Post Graduate teaching as Associate Professor / Reader /Professor or Research and Administration (Ayurvedic Medical education) in Central Government / State Government / Autonomous body/ Statutory Organizations / Recognized Research Councils / Universities

Desirable :
[1] Ph.D. in Ayurveda.
[2] Experience in Research and administration.

Maximum Age Limit : 55 Years. (Can be relaxed upto 58 yrs in case of persons holding the post of Principal / Director of Ayurveda Medical College. For eligible Institute candidates there is no upperage limit.)

Method of recruitment by Direct Recruitment, by Deputation, Transfer:
By deputation / contract for a fixed tenure of 5 years or date of retirement, whichever is earlier.

Salary : Pay Scale of Rs. 37400 – 67000 with Grade pay Rs.10000/- with NPA. As per the decision of Board of PGT&R the post of Director, IPGT&RA is a teaching Cadre post
